Foto Fun

Foto Fun members enjoy capturing the beauty of nature, historical locations, and the arts with photography. Monthly outings are planned to photographically interesting places. Dates for these trips vary. Members may use any type of image capturing device, including phones and tablets. All that is required is a sense of adventure and a camera!

Getting to What's Next...?

What's Next is designed for any NA member ready to create a new chapter in her/his life.

Participants may include those who are experiencing a change point, or anticipating one; those hoping to discover a new focus or activity; and those who feel a need to regroup because of the pandemic, or a personal situation, has disrupted their lives.

The group will serve as a think tank to discover and explore options for expanding horizons, and adding new dimensions for each of us. Collectively we will be our own best resource of ideas on how to achieve the goals we set for ourselves, giving and receiving input in a supportive environment. Guests with special expertise may be invited to participate in some monthly meetings.

Jewish Culture & Conversation

Please join us for lighthearted discussion, connection, and activities relating to Jewish culture (A Non-Religious & NonPolitical Group Open to All).

Topics/meetings may include: Jewish cooking, expressions, movies, humor, books, podcasts, visiting exhibits/museums, and a holiday event.

Needlework Group

The needlework group meets the first and third Thursdays of every month at a member's home from 9:30-11:30.  Any project using needles is accepted.  An email with details will be sent the week before the meeting.

Recollections One

Recollections meets on the second Monday of each month at 2:00 pm. We share short pieces that we have written from our own experiences or insights. The topic is selected by the host, and members come to the meeting with a 2-3 page written response, having interpreted the prompt in whatever way they chose, and read them to the group. These musings or recollections are from childhood, adolescence, and adulthood and allow members to share themselves with others in a safe environment. All things shared by others are agreed to be held in confidence. The focus is not on writing style or expertise. There is no critiquing of the writing, only sharing with supportive friends. New members are not required to write a paper the first time they visit.

COVID POLICY: The Recollections group meets on Zoom.

Recollections Two

Recollections Two meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm. We share short pieces that we have written from our own experiences or insights. The topic is selected by group consensus from prior meetings. Our members come to the meeting with a 1 to 3-page written response. A haiku is also welcomed. We each interpret the topic in whatever way we chose and read them to our group. These musings can be a from childhood, adolescence, and adulthood and allow members to share of themselves with others in a safe environment. All our recollections are held in confidence. The focus is not on writing style and no grading will occur! There is no critiquing of the writing, only sharing with friends. New members are not required to write a paper the first time they visit.
